MILLBROOK ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
Eligibility Criteria
ATHLETE:
- There must be a minimum of 15 years between a nominee’s application for induction and his/her date of graduation from MHS*.
- Athletes will be considered primarily on their achievements as a high school athlete.
- Must have been at least a 2-time All District/Conference selection OR at least a 1-time All Region OR All State selection OR an individual Region Champion OR individual state champion. Other achievements that may be considered include: state place winner; state qualifier; VHSL All Star Game participant; Division I scholarship; high school or college All American; sign professional contract.
- Must have made significant accomplishments in one or more interscholastic athletic activities as recognized by Millbrook High School.
- Consideration may be given to student-athletes who did not graduate from MHS, but made significant athletic accomplishments and met above criteria while a student at MHS.
- Consideration may be given to a nominee’s accomplishments after MHS.
- Character and other involvements will also be considered.
COACH:
- Must have been a Varsity Head Coach at Millbrook High School.
- Must be retired from coaching from MHS for a minimum of five years*.
- Must have made significant contributions to the success of the sport coached and the overall program at MHS.
- Must have coached teams to at least five (5) district/conference championships OR two (2) region championships OR one (1) state championship.
- Character and contributions to the community also being considered.
CONTRIBUTOR:
- Must be a loyal supporter of Millbrook High School who has contributed outstanding service to the Athletic Department over a significant number of years (not just the years his/her child participated in Millbrook Athletics).
- Deserving JV/assistant coaches can be considered in the Contributor category.
- Nominee does not need to be a MHS graduate.
